It’s that time of year again…mark your calendars for Saturday, June 9th at 11:15am where we will kick off the FVW Opening Day Bicycle Parade and Carnival on the corner of Barberry and Jourdain.  Bring your bicycle, scooter, wagons or roller blades and join us for this Summer kick-off!   Decorate your bikes, dress up anyway you like and let’s make it the biggest bicycle parade this city has ever seen!

Many activities will be organized at the pool on this day - more details to follow later!

This is a final reminder to please RSVP Cathy Cerisano if you plan on going to the Ceighlidh next Saturday, April 28th.   It's going to be at Ed Janiszewsky chalet at 6:30 pm. Bring the family!!  Bring your own beverage and snacks, coffee, tea and dessert will be available for purchase.   There is a maximum capacity so I need to know how many are attending.

I thought you'd like to see the calendar I carry with me all the time.  I need to if I don't want to forget everything that's happening here at Fairview Pool!!!  So, I've put my own PDF calendar right here on the site so you can print it and keep it with you like the lifeguards do.

You can keep up with all our activities and when they're happening on the Weekly Schedule page. 

The bicycle parade will be post-poned to Saturday, June 26th at 11:30am.  A BBQ will follow at 5pm - we will offer hamburgers and hotdog! 

Our official summer hours start Monday, June 28th so come out and help us celebrate summer officially starting at the Fairview Pool.   We will be doing our third annual Bicycle Parade at 11:30am.  It will be a short simple walk/ride so little ones can participate.  Decorate your bicycle or scooter or stroller or just yourself, you can ride or walk through our neighbourhood celebrating our awesome pool and being with our great community.   We will be meeting at the corner of Barberry and Jourdain  (the Barberry closest to West Acres, it's a crescent).
 
Following the parade we will be having fun and games for the entire family.   Come out and join us.
